Shahrzad Mazaheri, an experienced costume designer with over seven years of experience in Iran, now resides in the United States. Her notable work includes designing costumes for renowned theaters, including Trinity Rep, Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis and Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Mazaheri has received prestigious awards, such as the 2021 Design Fellowship for Public Works Dallas and the TxETA 2021 Scholarship. She is known for her advocacy against misrepresentation and cultural appropriation in movies and theater. Mazaheri holds an MFA in Entertainment Design from SMU and an MFA in Textile and Fashion Design.
