2023 KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Mark Bridges
Costume designer and two-time Academy Award winner Mark Bridges has collaborated with distinguished filmmakers including Steven Spielberg (The Fabelmans, 2022), David O. Russell (Silver Linings Playbook, 2012) and Paul Thomas Anderson for whom he has designed nine films including Boogie Nights (1997), There will be Blood (2007) and Phantom Thread (2017) for which he won his second Oscar after Michel Hazanavicius’ The Artist (2011). Bridges’ recently partnered with Bradley Cooper for Maestro (2023), a bio-pic about the conductor Leonard Bernstein.

Studio executives, film and television producers, theater directors and professional designers visit DSW each year to meet the industry's fresh rising stars.
We are back in person and celebrating 20 years of Design Showcase West! DSW features graduate student work from the nation's top universities in costume, lighting, production, sound, scenic, and projection/media design.
