Jacqueline Malenke, also known as JQ, is a graduate student at the University of California, Irvine specializing in lighting design for theater, dance themed entertainment and film. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at the University of California, Riverside in 2015 and has since gained experience as a lighting designer and programmer at several regional theatres and festivals. Notably, Malenke was awarded the 2015 KCACTF Barbizon Award for Excellence in Lighting Design for her work on the show “Blackballin'” by Rickerby Hinds.
