Katie Miller

Katie Miller is a costume designer with a particular interest in sculptural garments and fantastical designs. She holds a M.F.A. from The University of Texas at Austin (2023) and a B.F.A. from the University of Utah (2012). She received a nomination for Best Costume Design at the 2015 Milan International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema for her work on the short film, Moments of Clarity (Blooming Studios). Recent credits at UT include; Les Contes d’Hoffmann (2023, Butler Opera Center); Murky as Hell (2022), The Horizon and the Offing (a piece in Fall for Dance 2022), and Radiance (2021). She recently explored a material-led approach to designing costumes for her Master’s thesis.
