Pan is a set and production designer from China, currently based in New York City. Her background in textile design and mixed materials are an essential part of her interdisciplinary skillset. She has designed many short films and has designed commercials for companies such as Shiseido, NetEase and Alibaba. She is curious to challenge the mind beyond reality and her approach to design is to convey the story and the hidden history through metaphor in order to establish the appropriate context. She appreciates and embraces both risk and collaboration in the design process and continues to explore designing holistic systems rather than just sets.
