Costume Design, Carnegie Mellon University, she/her
Based in Pittsburgh, Natesan is a multidisciplinary designer with experience in costume, fashion and digital design. She has received her MFA in costume design and loves adapting to what a given situation has to offer, using clothes as a platform to present upon. She believes that costume design is visual storytelling, and that costume designers use critical thinking to help direct a story through clothing choices, elevating characters in the process. Prior to her move to the East Coast, Natesan worked in India as an assistant designer to Manish Malhotra, the eclectic designer associated with Bollywood, international couture and high street fashion.
