Currently living in Athens, Ga., Dauenhauer is a scenic designer and scenic artist originally from Mississippi. She graduated from Mississippi University for Women in 2016 with a BA in theatre and a minor in music. In addition to being a member of several prestigious honor societies and graduating with Latin honors, she received the Theatre Student of the Year Award during her senior year. Dauenhauer first became involved with theater when she played a minor role in a community college production of The Wizard of Oz at the age of 12. Her past credits include work as a director, choreographer, technician and actor; all of which have influenced her work as a designer.
