Legate is a designer of projections, lighting and scenery for theater and film. Theater work includes collaborations with institutions such as the dance company Galumpha, Castleton Festival, Valley Musical Theatre, Central Washington Dance Ensemble, Bare Bait Dance, Montana Repertory Theatre and CWU Opera Ensemble, among many others. He was raised in Kalispell, Mont., where he grew up hiking, camping and producing theater. When not in production, Legate can be found at a soccer match or exploring the countryside with his dog, Penelope.
