Originally from Lima, Peru, Moreno Caycho immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 8. They are a costume designer with an MFA in costume design from the University of Washington and a BFA in theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. They are an abolitionist, artist, small-business owner, cat parent and aspiring herbalist. At the University of Washington, they designed An Accidental Death of an Anarchist, The Women of Lockerbie, Three Sisters and Body Awareness.
