Sherlock is based in Los Angeles. Always interested in shifting the space and subverting expectations, he loves approaching design with consideration for how to blur the distinction between the worlds of actor and spectator. He is excited by new works and collaboration and uses a balance of spectacle and simplicity to tell the story. He previously spent five years freelancing in Minneapolis, working with Theater Latté Da, Park Square Theatre, Artistry Theater and Visual Arts, and Yellow Tree Theatre, among others. Sherlock has interned in the studio of Derek McLane at Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, with Seven Devils Playwriting Conference, and Kà by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas. He holds a BFA in theater design and production from the University of Michigan.
