Delaney McLaughlin is an MFA student at the University of Georgia with a focus on lighting design. She believes lighting has the power to create immersive worlds in both theater and daily life. In addition to lighting design, McLaughlin has explored other areas such as scenic design, scenic painting, scenic carpentry, costume design, millinery and the history of architecture and costume. She has received recognition for her lighting designs, including two Caroline Awards and the Sylvia Hillyard Pannell Travel Award for outstanding academic performance.
