Courtney Ohnstad is an artist, creative and storyteller specializing in draping and flat patterning as well as specialty costuming techniques. Based in Atlanta, she works as a Costume Designer for film and theater. She recently designed costumes for “Black Butterfly,” an official selection at the Atlanta Film Festival. Ohnstad has received several accolades, including the KCACTF Award for two Meritorious Achievements in Costume Design and the Region VII Regional Award in Allied Crafts for makeup and hair design. In 2023, she completed her MFA in Costume Design for Theatre and Film at the University of Georgia.
