Yijie "EJ" Li is originally from China. He graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with BFA in Industrial Design in 2019 and is now based in Los Angeles. He has been a production designer and art director on multiple award-winning short films. His work, La Casa de la Abuela, was screened at FIRST, one of the most influential film festivals in China. The film was also nominated for a best production design award at Indie Short Fest. Li was also part of the RISD Rover team that designed and built a NASA Mars Rover for two years and won second place in the 2019 NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge. In 2017, he worked as a production designer for three XiaoMi commercials.
