Originally from Baltimore and now living and working in Los Angeles, Ben Nabinger is a costume designer and illustrator for theater, film and television. After earning his BA in theatre from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, then designing and stitching for theaters in Maryland, Florida and Kentucky, he began studying costume design for film and television at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. During his three years there, he worked to bring focus and clarity to his designs while developing his skills in costume construction and illustration. As an artist, Nabinger’s inspiration comes from an intersection of collaboration, exploration and spontaneity. With these tools, he aims his career towards creating those rare, overwhelming and euphoric seconds that turn entertainment into formative experiences.
